Professional theatre training for children in Hampshire
Solent Theatre Arts welcomes aspiring performers from Winchester and the surrounding areas.
You don't need to have experience, just a willing to learn, engage and have fun!
Drama
From creating characters to making your own plays - drama is more than just reading from a script. We encourage our students to be imaginative and create their own worlds. We cover improvisations, TV and film and different genres of theatre to cater for all tastes.
Musical Theatre
We are not a dance school. We teach students to be expressive through song and movement and ultimately be able to tell a story. We use well known Musical Theatre shows and songs ranging through different styles to enable something to suit all tastes and abilities.
Showcase
Once a year, we will offer a showcase performance ranging from a full production to snippets of what we have learnt over the year. If you've never been on stage before - don't panic! We'll always make sure you're showcased to the max whilst still being confident.
